General Membership Meeting and Election; Dr. Christina Sandoval to Speak

Everyone welcome.
The business meeting will commence at 7:30 PM, followed by the evening program. Our speaker, Dr. Christina Sandoval will speak on the plight of the Snowy Plover.
Christina Sandoval is a member of the Life Sciences Department at the
Dr. Sandoval will discuss the Reserve with its sandy beach, sand dunes, and adjacent estuary mouth which is one of a few choice west coast locations where the snowy plovers can breed and thrive. Dr. Sandoval’s presentation will reveal how the plovers must compete with beach users, unleashed dogs, and predators like crows. Without help, the plovers lose.
