Butterbredt Springs, Galileo Hills, and Piute Ponds

A BIRDATHON EVENT. Probable species: 115.

Directions: Meet at 5:30 a.m. at the McDonalds on Crown Valley Road in Acton, or 6:00 a.m. at the park-n-ride lot on the east side of Avenue S in Palmdale.

We will then stop in Palmdale for a brief search for LeConte’s Thrasher, then to Butterbredt Springs and onward to Galileo Hills, Piute Ponds and fnish at Apollo Park in Lancaster where we have seen Lesser Nighthawks the previous two years.
