Wildlife Waystation Event Canceled

This is to notify you of the cancellation of the Wildlife Waystation fund-raising event scheduled for October 30. Watch for a replacement date in the spring, when it won’t be dark as early and the time can be a little later in the day.Thanks!

Many people dread a call from their mechanic. Such a call usually means an additional expense. Perhaps a transmission needs to be overhauled or battery has to be purchased. But last Friday, several hours after my partner had picked up her car, I received a call from my mechanic about a very different subject.
