Kris Ohlenkamp attended this meeting and presented the SFVAS position.

The committee voted to refer the item to the full council.

On Wednesday, February 6th, Councilman Grieg Smith along with six other council members introduced a measure to kill the massive Las Lomas Development Project. Read about it at http://www.cd12.org/cd12homepage/cd12cd12homepage256550542_02062008.pdf

the address on my previous question was a typo mistake...sorry
My question is: would it be considered unusual to see a Merlin falcon in the Hansen Dam area?

I have seen a small falcon in the Hansen Dam area that I have decided must be a Merlin. Is that unusual? I haven't heard of them in the area before.

The banner head really dresses up the site!

Looking at the links, I think we should add:
Audubon California - www.audubonca.org
Mountains Resources & Conservation Authority (MRCA) - www.LAMountains.org
The River Project - www.theriverproject.org

Thanks, Lorna. The site looks good so far but needs some critical review. Here are a few things, for starters:

The Officer list needs correction and updating. The PDF Phaino file failed to open on my computer using Firefox browser - some note about not properly decoding. I think 'Directions' (in the site map section) should be more explicit, like 'Meetings, Walks & Fieldtrips'. In the carryover of content from the old site, some links got broken; all links need to be checked.

I'm also posting this note in the Welcome Page response section just to see how it works.

I hope you'll be able to drop in for some of the Board meeting tonight. Keep in touch.
