Fire Station #83

LAFD Engine Company 83 was founded in 1942 to serve the Encino area. Six years later, the fire station was relocated diagonally from its original site into a single-bay firehouse. After 58 years, a new facility was dedicated on February 26, 2006. This modern, six-bay station features a “drive-through” design, allowing access from both Moorpark Street and Balboa Boulevard.
