Fifth Annual BirdFest – Canceled!

November 10 @ 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM

The Fifth Annual Birdfest at Gillette Ranch

BirdFest started out small, and has grown over the years into a vital gathering of bird-lovers both expert and amateur, drawn from all over the Southland.

BirdFest is an opportunity for parents to acquaint their children with the wonder and beauty of birds -- and the ease with which the birdlife around us can become a fascinating part of their lives.

BirdFest is a chance to see large bird up-close, and hear experts speak about their lives and the habitats they share with us

BirdFest is a chance to go on -- perhaps your first -- bird walk with an expert who will show you how we spot and identify birds. You will see why the distinctions between different species are such an object of bird-watcher fascination.

Who knows, you might even decide to become more of a bird-watcher yourself. There are so many ways to bird-watch -- from the sidewalk in front of your house to the parks and forests around us, to...the world is the limit.

Come take a look at BirdFest. It’s free and it’s fun. See below for details and a map to the Gillette Ranch. See you there!
