Natasha Khanna is a Field Organizer for Audubon California. She helps lead the Southern California Chapter Council and works on a climate change initiative with the National Audubon Society. Natasha will be giving a talk on Bird Fest and the various conservation projects and policy issues that Audubon California is working on in the state. Some policy issues include working to protect our coastline from offshore oil drilling, protecting our national monuments, renewable energy, and passing climate legislation. State work on conservation includes protecting Tricolored Blackbirds, and the Salton Sea among other issues.
