The scheduled Birdathon Events for the 2011 season come to a close May 21 & 22 with the Children’s Birdathon on Saturday and the Youth Birdathon on Sunday. The results reported to the Birdathon Chair, Rose Leibowitz, are listed below. Congratulations to Jim Moore and his team on achieving a high count for the Palmdale to Butterbredt Springs effort.
If you haven’t already sent in your contribution for the year’s undertaking, we urge you to thank all the leaders noted above, as well as the many others who participated in one or more of the bird-finding efforts, by making a generous contribution! It will be most appreciated by the many children in our Environmental Education Program, the prime beneficiaries of your gift.
