Please join us on Sunday, April 2nd for a Bagels and Ballots Brunch at the Sepulveda Basin. The brunch will start at 10:30 in the morning and include bagels, cream cheese and beverages provided by the San Fernando Valley Audubon chapter. An optional birdwalk will also be held at 8:00 a.m. at the Basin. We will also be providing ballots and pens to members of the SFV Audubon chapter at the brunch so that you can vote in the annual election of individuals to serve as Officers and on the Board of Directors. Voting for Officers and members of the Board of Directors must be by written ballot. Because our Annual Meeting that is scheduled for May 25 will be on Zoom, we won’t get the chance to hand out ballots to attendees and need 50 members to cast ballot votes in order to achieve a quorum.
Directions to Birdwalk and/or Brunch:
Take Burbank Boulevard to Woodley Avenue. Turn north. Travel around 0.4 miles on Woodley to the first possible right turn, a park road. The park road will end at a parking lot. Turn left and drive through the parking lot. Turn right onto the park access road (“Wildlife Way”) and drive around 0.4 miles to the paved parking lot on the left at road’s end. Park in the lot and walk past the low, rock-faced buildings to our meeting place on the other side of the buildings.
